HOG Link Privacy Policy
Effective September 4, 2026
HOG Link is operated by RED Show Prep. It is a local-network control and show-reference application for compatible Hog lighting systems.
Information HOG Link handles
When you create or use a HOG Link account, HOG Link processes your verified email address, an internal account identifier, Founder eligibility/status when applicable, Google Play purchase and subscription verification records, resolved entitlement status, and short offline entitlement leases. This information is used only for account management, fraud prevention, subscription verification, purchase restoration, and providing the capabilities included in your plan.
Authentication and account records are processed by Supabase. Google Play processes subscription purchases and supplies purchase status to HOG Link's server-side verifier. Authentication email is delivered through Gmail SMTP. HOG Link does not place Google service-account credentials in the Android app.
Local show and device data
Hog XML-derived show data, palettes, patch and fixture information, Cuelists and cues, Show Profiles, Workstation layouts and assignments, pairing credentials, device names, and network settings are stored on your device. HOG Link communicates with Hog consoles and paired HOG Link devices over networks you select. The developer does not upload or retain your show files, OSC traffic, profiles, layouts, or pairing records in the commercial account service.
Sharing, sale, advertising, and analytics
HOG Link does not sell personal information and contains no advertising, advertising SDK, third-party tracking, or developer analytics. Account and purchase data is transferred only to the processors needed to provide authentication, billing verification, and entitlement service: Supabase, Google Play/Google Cloud, and Gmail SMTP.
Security and retention
Account and entitlement traffic is encrypted in transit. Android protects local account credentials using platform-protected storage. Server access is restricted by authenticated identity and server-side authorization. Account and purchase records are retained while your account is active and as reasonably required for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, security, legal, tax, and audit obligations.
Delete your account and data
You can request deletion inside HOG Link under Account & Plans → Request HOG Link account deletion, or email hoglink.support@gmail.com with the subject HOG Link account deletion request and the verified email address for the account.
After identity verification, RED Show Prep will delete the HOG Link account and associated account/profile, Founder, purchase-binding, entitlement, and lease records, except limited records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or audit obligations. Any retained record is limited to that purpose and retention period.
Deleting a HOG Link account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions separately in Google Play.
Your choices
You can sign out without deleting local show data, clear imported show/configuration data using HOG Link's local controls, and uninstall the app. Android backup settings may affect app-local backup retention. A HOG Link Show Profile is not a Hog show backup.
Children
HOG Link is a professional technical tool and is not directed to children.
